The Britax Eclipse car seat features deep, softly padded side wings for support and side impact protection. It has a 5 point safety harness, removable washable cover, slim base to ensure a better fit in modern sculpted cars, 5 recline positions for luxurious travelling and a secure belt locking mechanism for easy installation. It can be fitted with a lap belt and it also has a unique pitch control system which reduces the movement of the seat in an accident. All our car seats and infant carriers comply with current European regulations ECE R44-03 or ECE R44.04. Safety: Under no circumstances should a car seat be used on a passenger seat where there is an airbag. Correct fitting of all car seats and boosters is of paramount importance to make them most effective in the event of an accident. Not all car seats fit all cars and it is important to check for fitting suitability on all cars you intend fitting the seat to, as well as re-checking if you change your car. Always read the instruction booklet which comes with your car seat to achieve a safe and correct fitting, retaining the guide for future reference. We recommend fitting your car seat in advance of first using it. We recommend that babies shouldn`t be left in Group 0/0+ car seats (infant carriers) for prolonged periods. Children who weigh less than 15kg will need to use the 5-point harness, but from 15-36kg simply stow the harness away and use the car's adult 3-point seat belt to ensure your child is safely strapped in. The seat also features a carefully designed belt path to allow it greater compatibility with vehicles, and easier installation in 3 door cars.
